if you dont want to waste money on a oven this gpu is for you

Could be interesting if you can find it used for under 40usd. Any higher and you should just get a GT 1030 instead. Unlike the GT 1030 however you can't just stick it in any PC, you need a good PSU for this space heater.

Best alternative for your frying pan, oven, heater and a power burner.

i had it and it was a great GPU

according to price its much better than 1050ti, although 1050ti performance per watt is much better ... but for gaming experience there is a huge difference.

Had graphics issues/erros since I bought my PC many years ago and this card came with that pc.

Probably the alternative of your usual gas kitchen stove or microwave oven. Game lightly as you cook your favorite dinner! (I'm not responsible for possible damage to your system if you take this literaly!)

A great card if you want to warm up your room a bit!

For too much old GPU is good Pretty good performace, memory 1280mb is decent on time when this GPU selling But temperature of this card is 80c and fan spin slow as if temperature is 40c :D ..... After manually fan set is decent card for LGA 775 or older processor but today i bought some news because more than 200w TDP is too much

2010 saw Nvidia's respone to ATi's wildly sucessful HD 5870. What was Nvidia's respone? A literal furnace. The GTX 480 had 1,536MB of VRAM as opposed to 1,024MB, giving it a slight advantage there. If you really don't care about thermals and like your PC components to be nice and toasty (trust me, they love it), then this is the perfect GPU for you. Pair this Thermi GPU with a PresHOT Pentium D and you've got a nice oven...

This card used to be good 10 years ago. It outperforms its "successor", the 550-Ti by double the performance, according to the benchmarks. It also costs more, so it is the same value for money. (only if you are into old graphics cards.

I got this GPU and knew what Power it had. But with that crappy cooler and the powerdraw you can literaly cook on it. When you try to overclock it and set the fan to 100% you got an excellent heater. The card can`t even stay below 95 degrees. Also it sucks so much power that my 550W Powersupply wasn`t enough. Seriously buy a newer card, keep the GTX 480 as a legend on the shelf and not in your PC.

cheap but runs too hot

A powerful card and decently quiet, even in 2018/2019.
