Average Bench: 25.6% (187th of 714)

Based on 111,509 user benchmarks.  Device: 10DE 1402 Model: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950

The GTX 950 is Nvidia's latest Maxwell card which is based on a GTX 960 but with 25% fewer CUDA cores and 25% fewer texture units. Comparing the GTX 960 and 950 shows that, as expected, effective speed has been reduced by 25%. The GTX 950 is positioned above GTX 750 Ti which is Nvidia's energy efficient mass market GPU. Comparing the 750 Ti and 950 shows that 950 is nearly 50% faster but it's also priced 50% higher so the 950 doesn't offer improved value for money. Gaming performance for the GTX 950 at resolutions up to 1080p on high/ultra settings will be satisfactory most of the time. That said, the GTX 950 is priced on the high side ($160). At present the GTX 960 ($171) offers 25% better performance for just 7% more money. See a current list of the best value graphics cards here[Aug '15 GPUPro]

I'm still gaming it up with my EVGA GeForce GTX 950 SC 02G-P4-2951-KR 2GB from 2016. I have had no hiccups or issues on Steam, playing GTA IV, PubG, Insurgancy, Division 1 & 2, Destiny 2, Rust or any COD games. I also use it with my new MSI Optix MAG342CQR 34" UWQHD with no issues either.

Great budget card for gamers who want to play mid-tier games. Can run minecraft mods, 20-40 fps with shaders. I was very surprised when i played destiny 2 with it and has no problems when playing. Not the greatest when playing warzone, getting only 20-40 frames with low settings. Overall 4/5 stars.

Despite being old now, and not being the strongest at release either, it still has managed to hold up excellently even in 2023 considering its price

Great Card for the time, and its not even that bad today in 2018 its somewhere inbetween the GT 1030 and GTX 1050, but considering you can pick it up sometimes with a price of lower of the GT 1030, i would say its a really good bargain

Great GPU if you can find one for cheaper than $50. While the GTX 950 will not be able to play the newer 2020 and upcoming AAA games at very enjoyable settings, it can play older games such as The Witcher and GTA V and eSport games such as Fortnite and Rainbow Six Siege with no problems. I've recently upgraded a friend's brother's PC from an R7 250 to a GTX 950, and I was pretty satisfied with the result. I was able to run TC:R6S at 1080p120FPS on low settings without any issues or stuttering.

Fine for 1080p@60FPS gaming at mid to low graphic detail. I don't expect this to be too useful for gaming in a couple of years, but with it's low power requirements it'll serve a desktop centred system for a at least a few years longer.
