What a card! A card from 2010 that can play PUBG at 60+ FPS today is a hell of a card

It was good for its time, quite power-hungry compared to the rest but at least not as bad as it's precedessors and doesn't run as hot, but still using this now? Its just not ideal.

Good Price to perfprmance when bought second hand, BUT it crashes due to heat very often.

So you're putting together a PC and need a cheap card that can still game okay, and you're thinking of a GTX 570... no worries, just remember these are old and used. They will need disassembling to clean and put in new thermal paste (not a hard job) but should work fine after that. The down side is that they have very limited memory by today's standards and graphics settings will need to be set to 'low' along with 720p resolution as a starting point. Work your way up from there and decide what is 'playable' for you. If you're not playing the latest and greatest games you may be pleasantly surprised. More downside? These things suck power like my girlfriend... well.. you get the picture. They use a lot of power and get very, very hot. Stupidly hot by todays standards, especially if you've skipped cleaning and renewing the thermal paste. The last bit of bad news is that driver support ended late 2018, no any games from 2019 on most likely won't work, and if they do it'll be a mixed bag of results. The good news is that they are cheap, will work fine with older games, and if you aren't playing online competitive multiplayer they should suit you well. I keep mine alongside my well-used GT 520 which drove my machine from 2010 until late 2017. Its the card I could have had. Enjoy yours!
