Average Bench: 204% (3rd of 658)

Based on 108,690 user benchmarks.  Device: 10DE 2206 Model: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080

Nvidia’s 3080 GPU offers once in a decade price/performance improvements: a 3080 offers 55% more effective speed than a 2080 at the same MSRP. Given the widespread issues AMD users are facing with 5000 series GPUs (blue/black screens etc.), it is unlikely that AMD would have posed a rational threat to Nvidia’s market share this year. Nvidia’s price cuts are likely related to upcoming console updates. The seven year old hardware in both the Xbox One and Playstation 4 is due an update later this year. Whatever the motivation behind Nvidia’s price cuts, Christmas has come early for PC gamers who can look forward to an unparalleled gaming experience in class leading titles such as Cyberpunk 2077. At ultra settings, with ray tracing enabled, Cyberpunk 2077 redefines the boundaries of immersive gaming. It makes GTA5 look like Tetris in comparison. The combination of RTX+DLSS delivers stunning graphics that are several tiers higher than both AMD's best discrete GPUs and the upcoming consoles. In terms of real world performance, Nvidia’s 3000 series has more or less put AMD’s Radeon group in checkmate. Nonetheless, AMD’s marketers are capable of delivering elaborate BS albeit whilst struggling to keep a straight face. Their marketing infrastructure outsold Intel in the CPU market despite a 15% performance deficit. Without an appropriate social media strategy, Nvidia may still lose considerable market share, for all the wrong reasons. [Sep '20 GPUPro]

Got this back when it was still only mostly impossible to acquire. Extreme power for state of the art VR. I am so impressed with the technology but pissed off about the state of unattainable computer parts in general.

Was expecting higher performance than 12% better than the 2080 TI, but it's still significantly better than my 1080 TI so I'm still interested. It is 48% faster than 1080 TI and 63% faster than the 2080.

When comparing against a RTX 2080 Ti with same power limit bios the RTX 2080 Ti comes ahead after 2.5 years. HDMI 2.1 is old and DisplayPort 1.4a old as DP 2.0 has been out for 2 years providing 80gbps or 2x faster than hdmi 2.1

How can you expect to see this RTX3080 GPU shine when first you put it in an AMD and second you put it in an AMD with RAM running at 2400mhz, I mean atleast turn XMP on before you start the benchmark and tidy up your drives.

Good

You have to remember, that the card wasn't overclocked at all... along with not having any new drivers preset for the card. The performance will be higher than 12% on the 2080 ti.

Great card, but if anyone did research, they would KNOW that the prices have gone up 25-45% for 2021. So stop calling people 'scalpers' who sell the cards for current prices. Do not be lead by ignorance and misinformation. There was 1 version of this card EVER released at 700.00 and it was sold out in minutes. UPDATE YOUR DATA or keep fueling the fued between seller and buyers in what is already a scarce marketplace
