Average Bench: 71.4% (103rd of 713)

Based on 428,800 user benchmarks.  Device: 10DE 21C4 Model: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER

The GTX 1660 Super has a launch price of just $230 USD with comparable performance to the $280 USD 1660 Ti. The 1660 Super has 14 Gbps GDDR6 (versus 12Gbps GDDR6 for the 1660 Ti and 8Gbps GDDR5 for the 1660). The 1660 range of cards sit in the sweet spot for many gamers because they offer superb 1080p EFps in popular titles and they are relatively hassle free in terms of noise, compatibility and stability. The 1660S also features Turing NVENC which is far more efficient than CPU encoding and alleviates the need for casual streamers to use a dedicated stream PC. Shop prices will determine which 1660 series card represents the best value over time but at today's prices the 1660 Super effectively undercuts the 1660 Ti by $50 USD thus challenging the RX 590 in terms of overall value at 1080p. The next step up from the 1660S would be to the $325 RTX 2060[Oct '19 GPUPro]

I have it and its very good for games from normal to super high settings

Its pretty good at handling good graphics in games such as minecraft, Ark, and Gmod, but sometimes there is a heavy load of quality in a couple areas where the fps drops to 30-40. Overall 7.9/10.

It's great for the price and almost better than the 3050. You might as well just get a 1660 Super if it's cheaper

it's an entry level that can run practically anything. by run anything , i mean that what it doesnt run flawlessly, it can run at perfectly fine framerates like 50-60

It's a nice mid range card, can pretty much run most games at med-high settings. However, more demanding titles / settings will see a significant drop in performance. A good option to start your pc gaming journey, not too expensive and is slightly better than the GTX 1060.

i use it on doom and i get 750 fps on low

The refreshed GTX 1660 to be exact, this GPU nearly approaches GTX 1660 Ti in terms of both performance and compute units. Also comes with 6GB of GDDR6 VRAM which GTX 1660 Ti already has but is clocked higher than GTX 1660 Ti which resulted in higher bandwidth by overall and was comparable to RTX 2060 in term of memory bandwidth. This GPU is currently priced $230 which is about $42 less than the GTX 1660 Ti which makes this worth buying for gamers who have more restricted budget but are still looking for optimum 1080p gaming at 60-144fps.

Same performance as RTX2060M. But not able to run ray tracing.

Excellent

A good mid-range card that keeps its value, even with the new RX 5600XT. Definitely a good option for those who want good performance without the software issues.

Excellent

Will play pretty much any game at 1080p and even some at 1440p with a power use of just 125W, meaning a $50-$60 Corsair CX 450W PSU will work in nearly any build.

Excellent

Got this right at the beginning of the graphics card shortages and man was it worth it . This thing can crank out one hundred frames plus for RL and and runs well on rdr II at max settings (!!) . An amazing mid-range card .

Excellent

amazing value competing with the RX 500 Polaris series from AMD. it runs on the Turing architecture, but without RTX, so you still get the Nvenc encoder for streaming. An amazing card for 1080p eSports rig, when paired with a Ryzen 5 3600. though it does have some competition from the newly released RX 5600 xt, which has the rDNA 7nm architecture, and PCIe gen4 support.

Good

I think this is a great replacement to RX580

Average

Comparable to a 1070 Ti, a 980 or the stuff they're packing in for the next console generation. A better version than the the 1660 and the 1660-Ti, falls short at it's value.

Poor

For anyone building a system, build around a high quality GPU and then CPU followed by a decent NVMe SSD. My minimum recommendation would be a RTX 2060 Super.

Excellent

Runs most games at 60+ fps for a very cheap price.

Excellent

When underclocked, it can run on max. 75 W power consumption and yet outperform older GTX 1050 by more than 100 %. Excellent power-for-watt ratio for reasonable price

Excellent

Its the ultimate 1080p GPU for a reason. Whilst it doesn't have any RTX capabilities that you get by paying just about $50 more for something like a 2060 it offers more than enough fps on any esports title and allows you to max out even the newest AAA games with playable framerates at 1080p. In addition the GDDR6 memory means that it has the fastest memory around, an advantage to a getting a more newish card instead of a card like a 980ti or a 1070.

Replaced my RX480 8gb with Asus 1660S 6gb EVO to get rid of high temps and loud fan noise. I don't want to spend $300 plus for 1 component. Temps are down and its so quiet. Some will say its not worth the upgrade but it is; 1080p and some games perform better, with lower temps and no jet engine fans. I could have spent more on better cards but the heat and fan noise problem would be there. I recommend this card as long as you temper you expectations.
