I have Sapphire R9 280X Toxic Edition. Factory Overclocked and better performance than the standard 280X. Not as widely available and cost upwards of £200, performance is more in line with the R9 290 reference card, at times exceeding it.—May '15

I used it for 7 years and it is still fine to play.. its clear that there are better ones but if u want to play simple games - its worth and lifes very long

Amazing card in 2021, can be found for 40 Canadian or under. Performs better price to performance wise than any other card in the market hands down and will run anything at 1080p. The 280x performs better than a 1050 ti for a third of the price. Just make sure to avoid the blower style cards as they get hot.

Used this GPU for a long time. Cheap and works with everything at minimum 40fps on max graphics. Only downside is the 3GB of VRAM a little lacking when playing modern ish games like GTA5.

Card has remained supported and compfurtably powerfull enough to still run modern titles at reasonable frames. Great purchase to have made when the came out!

Very good GPU..... But 1 bad thing is here... Is "old" 7970 with new BIOS ..... Yes,7000 series will be great bud new generation should be new,no "recycled"

Excellent

Even though it was released in 2013 it can still be used to play most modern games at acceptable framerates. 10/10 would buy it again.

Great graphics card that can still run games at 1080p. I plan on building a new PC soon but this one served me well for years.
