Based on 15,686 user benchmarks.  Device: 1002 731F Model: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT

The RX 5700 XT is AMD’s latest flagship 1440p gaming graphics card which has been released alongside their 7nm Zen 2 processors. The 5000 series of GPUs feature the first iteration of AMD’s new RDNA 7nm microarchitecture, also known as Navi. Specifically the 5700 XT has 40 compute units (compared to 36 in the RX 5700 - a cut down version) and a game frequency (comparable to Nvidia’s boost frequency) of 1.76 GHz (versus 1.63 GHz in the RX 5700). AMD have limited the frequency to a max boost clock of 1.9 GHz. Like the 5700, the 5700 XT has 8 GB of GDDR6 high-speed memory, capable of delivering 448 GB/s of memory bandwidth and features PCIe 4.0 support. The 5700 XT has slightly more power consumption with a 225 Watt TDP compared to 180 Watts for the 5700. The first benchmarks suggest that these differences in specifications result in the 5700 XT having around a 15% faster effective speed than the 5700 for a 13% price premium. Nvidia have announced refresh versions of their recent RTX models in the form of the RTX 2060 Super, 2070 Super and 2080 Super, which are poised to offer better performance and value than the previous generations. The RTX Super cards are also due for release now (July 2019) so shop prices will determine where the best value for money lies. [Jul '19 GPUPro]

This thing kills any game I throw at it! I only have to say it doesn't support DirectX11 for some reason along with also OBVIOUSLY not having Ray Tracing which Nvidia is the creator and owner of that one which I must say is awesome to see real world reflections in games. It makes the gaming 10x's more realistic. Back to the 5700XT, it is a price to performance TITAN!!!!!!

way better value compared to rtx 2070 super and a go-to-card if you are not interested in ray tracing

Would've probably best value for performance GPU (~$400 USD for sub-GTX 1080 Ti/RTX 2080 performance?). Looking from stream processors number/performance ratio when compared to RTX 2080 (2560 SP to 2080's 2944 SP), AMD has slight IPC and core clock/ boost clock advantage over Nvidia (unsure for this). I would recommend this if you're looking for 1440p 144hz gaming and don't want to spend on used GTX 1080 Ti (which currently cost min ~$500). This card obviously includes native support for FreeSync but lacks CrossFire support.

All despite lacks of raytracing (which gamers probably don't need for high FPS gaming), this card seems worth over RTX 2080 despite being slightly/significantly slower at MRender and Gravity benchmark

Even though the current market doesn't offer the same value as we used to get 3 years ago, this card is definitely a big step into the right direction and a good upgrade from a gtx 1070.

This is seriously impressive for the price, 5-10 percent worse than my 1080 ti i bought USED on ebay for $100 less...

Excellent performance for the money, at least compared to the competition and relative to the overall market. Since real-time ray tracing is virtually unusable on just about anything less than a 2080 Ti, the fact that these new AMD cards are lacking dedicated real-time ray tracing hardware is mostly a mute point. Most reviews place the 5700 XT well ahead of the RTX 2070, bordering on the overall performance of Radeon VII and RTX 2080, if not occasionally outperforming those cards. Here on UserBenchmark, it seems that the 5700 XT is performing even better than expected, roughly equaling the performance of the far more expensive RTX 2080, the newly released RTX 2070 Super, and even the Radeon VII which it's supposed to slot beneath.

I am shocked at how powerful this card is, even with the blower on it. This card shows how great the future 5800 / 5900 cards will be. Great performance with a simple 'power slider up 50%' while turning down the voltage a smidge. Beats out the 1080ti for value and performance, which is saying quite a lot.

Upgraded to the 5700-XT from the RX 590 (after an awesome experience with the 590, I moved it to my secondary rig replacing a GTX 1050 Ti which I sold on). It's a fantastic card, capable of 60FPS minimum,1440p with ease. Runs a little hot, but a reasonable case set up for cooling is more than sufficient. For the price I paid (£329.99) the "bang for the buck" factor is absolutely on point.

The best card for the money. It's 400 dollars and compared to the 2080-super, when a slight overclock is put onto this card, it outperforms an average 2080-super for half the price.

Poor

Lots of power, lots of issues. While the RX5700XT is probably unbeatable for sheer computing power per dollar right now, the horrible, ancient drivers make the cards unbearable to use. I was getting massive tearing when using FreeSync, and the display driver frequently crashed. The fan design isn't nearly as bad / noisy as it's sometimes made out to be tough.
