I have this GPU housed inside my ThinkPad T15g with 4K OLED Touchscreen and a Xeon processor along with LTE capability. I purchased this computer for a rather extreme discount from what Lenovo's asking price of $4,000+ depending on the configuration I'm not totally sold on the T15g Gen2 for its price difference, which it has the same 4K OLED, LTM option but it includes a 8-core Intel i9 processor and a 6 and 8 core Xeon processor, the T15g Gen 2 is coupled with the Nvidia's 3080 (Mobile) that comes equipped with 16 GB VRAM compared to the T15g Gen1 that has 8 GB VRAM. I must say the value proposition I made for this computer was exactly at my right price point when I bought it in March, the T15g Gen 2 with 32GB RAM Intel Core i9 and 3080 is going for more than $4K, basically paying 3x the price of the T15g Gen 1 with a Nvida 2080S Max-Q. Personally, I see a great value proposition when I purchased my T15g Gen 1, I can throw anything I want at this beast, it performs admirably and relly I couldn't even conceptualize the performance improvement between these two GPUs, the CPUs are roughly going to perform similarly but the Gen 1 looks identical to the Gen 2, Lenovo is mkaing people pay top dollar for the Gen 2 because people covet the 3080 with 16GB VRAM?
