I bought this now older card to use in my "New" HTPC created from older DDR3 technology that was my wife's previous system. I was only looking for a HDMI connector. For the same money of a HDMI connector I bought this HD 5770 that of course worked better than on-board CPU graphics. Equal cost and yet being more than simply a HDMI connection point. This card beat out my GTX 550 Ti card, both with 1gb RAM. This is a comparison according to on-line benchmarks done by others. Now I'm enjoyed my "new" HTPC in my Den more so and now we can even do some very light gaming on a 55 inch television. This is accomplished while I'm sitting in the 'comfy chair'. Best computer chair ever(recliner). Graphics card price: $20usd. If the seller had more HD 5770's at this price, then I would've also bought and used them in my older computers. This card works great! Praise The Lord and Godspeed to you all - Ephesians 6:10-12!!

Reliable card but attracts dust easily. Hits temps up to 105 degrees celsius. Overall good card but would like AMD to fix it.

Very good performance-price rate. This legacy GPU is great with i.e. 4th gen Intel i7-4700-series. XCom 2 and other new(ish) games work just fine with nice FPS. I strongly advice to get HD-series AMD GPU from HD5000-HD9000 for low-budget enthustiatist with need of speed and performance.
