On the NVIDIA site, the GT 820M (2gb in my case) is rated 2,5x faster than an Intel HD 4400 (probably the mobile version). Doesn't look true, as the GPU is just barely ~16% faster than the iGPU in question, also because of this "Optimus" thingy, this GPU isn't directly connected to the monitor so it has to pass every frame to the Intel GPU to render something on my screen, this increases latency and not only that: in my case the GPU won't push more than 250 fps because it won't have any effect on either latency nor tearing. An HD 4400 can reach 300+ fps max and has 120 fps average in some of my cases, this dGPU instead sits around 150 fps and when it ain't lazy, pushes 250 fps max... BTW bad thing NVIDIA doesn't mention this thing's amount of CUDA cores lol (96)

tbh i spend 500$ on a laptop with nvidia geforce 820m and i feel like its not worth it for gaming i mean its pretty good if you want it for office/work but gaming its just nah...

Excellent

I have this, and it's totally better than the GTX 280

Decent performance for basic gamers. LoL, WoW and such games in Low/Medium settings will be in playable 60fps most of the time, but forget about playing any brand new games on this one.
