Average Bench: 44.7% (74th of 630)

Based on 46,579 user benchmarks.  Device: 1002 67DF Model: Radeon (TM) RX 470 Graphics

The RX 470 is the second Polaris based 14 nm graphics card released by AMD this year. The 470 follows hot on the heels of the hugely successful (though still mostly unavailable) RX 480. Based on specs the RX 470 has approximately 10% less processing horsepower than the RX 480. Looking at provisional average benchmarks (we only three samples of the RX 470 at this time) of the RX 480 and RX 470 shows that the performance gap is just a few percent. This performance gap will likely widen as we get a more representative number of samples of the RX 470 but the fact that custom design 470s are already available will likely keep the gap between the 480 less than 10%, at least until custom 480s make it to market. The list prices of both the 4GB RX 480 and RX 470 cards are within 20 USD of each other so AMD have basically re-released the 480 at a slightly reduced price with slightly reduced specs, strange but true! [Aug '16 GPUPro]

Asus strix rx 470 has the most ridiculous tdp limit that causes it to throttle indepently of temperature (downclocks to 300 MHz at 64C). Also raising power limit would be necessary to reach the 1250 MHz in most games. Possibly the worst card ever manufactured.

I have MSI Gaming X card and it is awesome - stock frequencies shows shows score of almost 50%, overclocked by 5% gets it around 51.5% with TDP at 120W. Got RX 580 from Sapphire and it gave score of ~ 55% - too low for 185W card. It made like 1-3FPS in the games - I sold it again and stood with RX 470.

had it for awhile and its pretty good on well-optimized games, whereas if it isnt very well optimised like in ghost recon i get like no framerate

Well, I play in 2k most games on high or Medium high, with some OC, always to 65FPS.

Got mine for 250$ before the gpu price surge. * outstanding performance per watt and dollar * decent at overclocking * good temps even under heavy load with the latest bios update from gigabyte. ---- With a stable 1365 MHz core and 2000 MHz memory overclock(proof: http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/7552794), I was able to get Witcher 3 to run at 60 fps stable @ 1080p with mostly ultra settings (only foliage distance and hair works low).

This card is nearly as fast as my RX480. That AMD tried to make cards for regular gamers was great; and this card along with the entire RX line was awesome.
