Whilst the drought in the GPU market continues, street prices for AMD cards are around 50% lower than comparable (based on headline average fps figures) Nvidia cards. Many experienced users simply have no interest in buying AMD cards, regardless of price. The combined market share for all of AMD’s RX 5000 and 6000 GPUs amongst PC gamers (Steam stats) is just 2.12% whilst Nvidia’s RTX 2060 alone accounts for 5.03%. AMD’s Neanderthal marketing tactics seem to have come back to haunt them. Their brazen domination of social media platforms including youtube and reddit resulted in millions of users purchasing sub standard products. Experienced gamers know all too well that headline average fps are worthless when they are accompanied with stutters, random crashes, excessive noise and a limited feature set. [Jan '22 GPUPro]

AMD are great at selling junk. They pee in the well with fake comments, glorified cheerleaders on youtube and paid magazine reviews. My POS PC still crashes randomly. Everybody needs to call the rats out instead of letting them get away with it.—May '22

Bought a brant new gigabyte 6600. After one week the GPU died mid game, would not recognize drivers, would not boot windows. Completely bricked (650w gold power supply). Bought a used 1650 super on facebook and instantly worked. Tried a clean windows install, drivers would not download, computer stuck in boot loop. An absolute $300 nightmare. After researching forums it seems that many users have experienced nothing but problem after problem. STAY AWAY!!!—Oct '22

cs2 is running poorly at the moment. Recommended launch options for this card is -high -threads 10 -d3d9ex +mat_queue_mode 2 +fps_max 400. I have 16 threads but the game runs much better without so much jitter at 10.

Honestly, great value for the price. To get it working well, you do need to spend some time optimising it. Had stuttering issues on a couple games. Black Ops Cold War: Game would not run over 40fps at ultra settings. Spent time reducing texture res settings but nothing worked. Took me a couple hours and reddit threads to work out the issue was raytracing being enabled by default. Once I switched it off, performance increased significantly. Destiny 2: Game stuttered at 100+FPS. With vsync disabled, the game should have performed well above the 56fps on ultra I was getting. Did some digging, spent time reading and playing with some settings. Turned out that the issues was an outdated motherboard BIOS. After an update, the game worked well with no stuttering issues. Overall, very happy despite the time spent debugging and optimising.
