Average Bench: 76% (95th of 713)

Based on 318,562 user benchmarks.  Device: 10DE 2182 Model: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti

The GTX 1660 Ti the latest mid-range and mid-priced graphics card for gamers, succeeding the now two year old GTX 1060 6GB. As NVIDIA have tried to imply with their naming convention, performance of this 16 series GPU lies somewhere between their 10 series and 20 series but the 16 does not contain any of the recent RTX cores, which given the lack of RTX ready games, by itself is no hindrance at all. The 1660 Ti features a new TU116 Turing based die, 6GB of VRAM, 1536 CUDA cores and has a 120W TDP which is a remarkably low power draw for its performance. The reference GPU clock speeds are 1500MHz and 1770MHz for base and boost respectively, and manufacturer overclocked speeds will be higher. The 1660 Ti also features Turing NVENC which is far more efficient than CPU encoding and alleviates the need for casual streamers to use a dedicated stream PC. Early benchmarks show that the 1660 Ti has a clear 33% effective speed advantage over its $60 cheaper 1060 6GB predecessor and that it performs just 4% slower than the $80 more expensive GTX 1070 in terms of effective speed. As well as crowding out the direct competition from NVIDIA’s own 1070, at an opening price of $280, the GTX 1660 Ti competes squarely with AMD’s RX 590 ($260) which has an 18% lower effective speed. Perhaps this will be an impetus for AMD to adjust pricing for the RX 590 and offer something more value-led in the mid-range. [Feb '19 GPUPro]

Good GPU for even this generation and in most games it still preforms well (not so much AAA title games though) but we all have to come to the conclusion that 1660S is better not the performance compared, but the very high price to performance with in NZD with the slight better performance the of the 1660TI With the price of $100 more is not amazing.

Good price, outstanding performance. Can run just about anything at 1080p. There are now better options on the market but hey, it runs good, it performs well, why swap it out?

Poor thing was well loved, then overtaken at the low end by the 1660S, and now the 2060 KO takes the high end for $20-$25 more :(

This card is 2019's go to card for budget and mid-high end gaming. The price comes in as cheaper than a flagship 1060 GPU but gives out performance that is similar to a GTX 1070. This card has incredible value and could be overclocked to meet the standards of a 1070. Overall, this card is perfect for those who want to experience near high-end gaming while not breaking the bank on a graphics card.

Replaced a failing 980-Ti with this expecting similar results, was pleasantly surprised how much of an improvement it was. Runs much cooler, and FPS is about 20% higher on everything I tested with it. Was able to modestly overclock it to get into the 99th percentile also. Can do ray tracing, but you wouldn't want to :)

Wonderful GPU! Great quality and high performance.

Excellent

Ray tracing is such a huge joke and the RTX line is overpriced. Best thing to do for now is to get one of these and stand by until Nvidia stops playing around and releases something actually worth what they are charging.

For the card that i tested that overclocked extremely +165 Core clock even and +1225 on memery even with California Heat which was 40c ambient doesnt have temp issues like my 2080 Super mainly do to lack of airflow in behind GPU in NZXT H1 which i have to under volt

Excellent

Some people commenting here are zoo escapees, this has great value. Paired with a decent $150-ish CPU and decent $80-ish RAM, gets 60 fps, max settings, 1080p, with basically no frame dips after overclocking. Using an MSI Gaming X in a well-ventilated case, never hits 70 C.

Great 10-series addition, it fills its price point nicely, Don't expect great Ray-tracing from this card, it may have gained driver support, but it chugs. Kinda wish it was 8GB

Excellent

Coming from a GTX 1060 I wasn't sure if this was going to be worth the upgrade but after just one night, I can already say that I am happy with my decision to move forward with getting the GTX 1660. This thing is a Powerhouse. And has a much smaller form-factor than my MSI 1060 6GB. This card was absolutely made to be overclocked(I have the MSI Ventus XS OC). Initial testing shows near 100% stability with extremely few artifacts with core clock boosted by 125 megahertz and memory clock boosted by 1500 megahertz, which is the highest that MSI afterburner will allow. Still need to do additional testing to find maximum overclock stability over extended periods of time. This is in stark contrast to my 1060, which could only handle about plus 80 or 90 core clock, and about +450mhz vram boost. Well worth the money for the upgrade even from the 1060

This GPU has great performance in the games I play, Assassin's Creed, Minecraft, Call of Duty, Fallout 4, Terminator: Resistance, Jedi Fallen Order, GTA V, etc. It does overheat easily for a laptop, but when it's able to vent its air it performs amazingly for my taste. When I upgrade I will miss it, but it does good for a GPU that's lasted about 1 year.
