Average Bench: 26.4% (120th of 643)

Based on 85,287 user benchmarks.  Device: 10DE 1402 Model: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950

The GTX 950 is Nvidia's latest Maxwell card which is based on a GTX 960 but with 25% fewer CUDA cores and 25% fewer texture units. Comparing the GTX 960 and 950 shows that, as expected, effective speed has been reduced by 25%. The GTX 950 is positioned above GTX 750 Ti which is Nvidia's energy efficient mass market GPU. Comparing the 750 Ti and 950 shows that 950 is nearly 50% faster but it's also priced 50% higher so the 950 doesn't offer improved value for money. Gaming performance for the GTX 950 at resolutions up to 1080p on high/ultra settings will be satisfactory most of the time. That said, the GTX 950 is priced on the high side ($160). At present the GTX 960 ($171) offers 25% better performance for just 7% more money. See a current list of the best value graphics cards here[Aug '15 GPUPro]

At the time of purchase (2016) it was a fairly decent upgrade and barely broke the $100 mark after rebate. Still rocking it in an 8yr old XPS 8500 w/i5-3350p in late 2020

its been years since I bought it and maybe more since it came out and I still can run almost any game and most of them with very good graphics in 2018

its an okay GPU because you can run most games on low with decent fps but the newer games are are very bad (bf5, COD bo4, etc)

Poor

Great Card for the time, and its not even that bad today in 2018 its somewhere inbetween the GT 1030 and GTX 1050, but considering you can pick it up sometimes with a price of lower of the GT 1030, i would say its a really good bargain

Fine for 1080p@60FPS gaming at mid to low graphic detail. I don't expect this to be too useful for gaming in a couple of years, but with it's low power requirements it'll serve a desktop centred system for a at least a few years longer.
