Average Bench: 106% (31st of 667)

Based on 452,249 user benchmarks.  Devices: 10DE 1F07, 10DE 1F02 Model: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070

NVDIA’s RTX 2070 follows on from their recent release of the 2080 and 2080 Ti from their RTX 2000 series of Turing architecture GPUs. The 2070 has 2304 CUDA cores, a base/boost clock of 1410/1620 MHz, 8GB of GDRR6 memory and a memory bandwidth of 448GB/s. The RTX 2070 also features Turing NVENC which is far more efficient than CPU encoding and alleviates the need for casual streamers to use a dedicated stream PC. Traditionally NVIDIA’s 70 range has offered better value for money than the more powerful 80 GPUs. The Founders Edition 2070 has an MSRP of $599 which makes both new 1080 and used 1080 Ti GPUs decent options. The price premium over the previous generation of GPUs is, for the most part, for NVIDIA’s new ray tracing technology, and unfortunately, the benefit of this is currently unknown as there are no RTX ready games. Performance benchmarks on tangibles place the 2070 6% ahead of the 1080 in terms of effective speed and 17% behind the 1080 Ti. Since AMD’s similarly priced RX Vega 64 has a 13% lower effective speed, there is no real pressure on NVIDIA to compete agressively with thier own previous generation of cards.  [Oct '18 GPUPro]

Worked as expected but died after one year following a series of BSODs, IRQL not less or equal (nvlddmkm.sys), black screens, driver installation failures, space invader artefacts, freezes, crashes and failed Sphere UserBenchmark benchmark for no apparent reason.

Es impresionante la capacidad que tiene esta tarjeta gráfica como la RTX 2070 de alcanzar una buena jugabilidad a la hora de jugar títulos bastante exigentes.

Excellent, It's the one graphics card you're ever going to really need. Anything more is going a bit overkill, this is the sweet spot of Best performance/low price.

Average

The 2070 offers slightly more raw performance than the 1080 at a similar price, so it's a better option. It's not the kind of improvement someone would expect after 2.5 years, but it's an improvement. Without content using its raytracing capabilities, it's impossible to give a complete conclusion.

A good high-end GPU that doesn't cost a fortune, I recommend the 2070 Super instead of course.

Excellent

Great gpu, mine in particular outperforms the 2070 super so 2070 super is not worth it for me at all, why buy something when yours cost the same and performs better. avg for 2070 super is 146% yet mine gets 151%.

Excellent

Great GPU. Got mine as an EVGA XC ULTRA model for 390€ new (sealed) to replace my 1060 and it was a great choice. Holds up stupidly well in 2020 and the EVGA models barely heat up.

Good

While the promised rtx seems to be out of reach for this rtx model, it still constantly performs better then 1080 with equal or cheaper price. It was easy to overclock with my xc gaming to around 2120 clock speed, around 75 degrees full load gaming with fan curve adjustment.
